At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Ukraine and 1 - of Russia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the countries of exit.At the Zilupe Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of Russia and 1 - person without certain status.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Belarus, 4 - of Russia, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Germany and 1 - of Estonia.
