On Friday the 22th of January, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 54 offenders at external borders and within the country.
8 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
- 1 person with forged documents was detected
At the Paternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kazakhstan, entered Latvia with forged Germany International Vehicle Insurance Policy was detected. The person was returned to the exit country.
- 1 citizen of Latvia, who are on the police wanted list, was detained
At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia entering the country for Dublin, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. Person was detained and handed over to the State Police Officers.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 43 persons – 13 citizens of Ukrain, 8 – of Lithuania, 8 – of Poland, 3 – of Hungary, 3 – of Russia, 2 – of Latvia, 2 – of Estonia, 1 – of Uzbekistan, 1 – of Finland, 1 – of Italy and 1 – of Belarus.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 3 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 1 citizen of Turkmenistan, 1 – of Russia and 1 – of Belarus.
