On Thursday the 23th of January, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 30 offenders at external borders and within the country.
21 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 foreigner with forged documents was detectedAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, entered Latvia with forged Norway Residence Permit, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.
4 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Grebņeva, the Terehova and the Silene Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; as well as 1 citizen of Moldova and 1 - of Russia were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners have a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreignersAt the Zilupe and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Moldova, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 1 citizen of Canada.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Latvia and 1 - of Poland.
