2 foreigners with forged documents were detectedAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova, entering Latvia, with forged Moldovan Driving Licence was detected. Criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. The forged document was seized within the framework of the criminal procedure. While at the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of German, leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, with forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policy was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability. The forged document was seized.
1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detainedAt the Riga Passenger Port 1 citizen of Latvia entering Latvia from Sweden, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 2000, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
3 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Grebņeva and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Moldova were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreignersAt the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Kazakhstan and 1 - of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the citizen of Kazakhstan was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 4 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of Georgia, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Uzbekistan.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 4 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Kazakhstan.
