On Sunday the 24th of January, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 47 offenders at external borders and within the country.
9 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
- 1 person with forged documents was detected
At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kirgiztan, entered Latvia with forged Montenegro International Vehicle Insurance Policy was detected. The person was returned to the exit country.
- Entry into Latvia were denied to 2 foreigners
At the Terehova Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners violated Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 360 "Epidemiological precautions to control the spread of Covid - 19 infection". The persons were returned to the exit countries.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 36 persons – 10 citizens of Latvia, 8 – of Estonia, 6 – of Ukrain, 5 – of Poland, 2 – of Belars, 2 – of Romania, 1 – of Finland, 1 – of Lithuania and 1 – of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 2 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 1 citizen of Russia and 1 – of Kirgizstan.
