On Monday the 25th of January, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 50 offenders at external borders and within the country.
7 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
- Entry into Latvia were denied to 2 foreigners
At the Paternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner violated Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 360 "Epidemiological precautions to control the spread of Covid - 19 infection", and 1 citizen of Ukraina of foreigner was not in a possession of valid visa or residence permit. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
- Conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen area was violated by 1 foreigner
At Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan, who has violated conditions of residence of the Schengen area (was not in a possession of valid visa or residence permit) was detected. Person was subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 39 persons – 12 citizens of Ukrain, 6 – of Latvia, 6 – of Romania, 4 – of Finland, 3 – of Estonia, 3 – of Bulgaria, 2 – of Lithuania, 1 – of Poland, 1 – of Nigeria, and 1 – of Belarus.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 4 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 2 citizens of Russia, 1 – of Belarus and 1 – of Kyrgyzstan.
