On Sunday the 3th of January, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 9 offenders at external borders and within the country.
3 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
- 1 foreigner was refused to entry Latvia
At the Airport “Riga” Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused to entry Latvia because person s the foreigner did not possess valid travel document. Person was returned to the country of departure.
- Departure of the country refused for 1 citizen of Latvia
At the border control in the Riga International Airport detected one citizen of the Republic of Latvia who was not in possession of valid travel document. Departure of the Republic of Latvia for person has been denied.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons – 3 citizens of Ukrain, 1 – of Russia and 1 – of Latvia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 1 citizen of Russia was subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard.
