On Thursday the 7th of January, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 16 offenders at external borders and within the country.
5 trespassers were detected at external borders, including 1 person with forged documents was detected. At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus, entered Latvia with passport that contained forged marks of Latvian border crossing stamps, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability and was returned to the exit country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons – 2 citizens of Ukrain, 2 – of India, 1 – of Belarus, 1 – of Lithuania and 1 – of Kirgiztan.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 4 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 2 citizens of Lithuania, 1 – of Latvia and 1 – of Belarus.
