On Sunday the 1st of July, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 52 offenders at external borders and within the country.
28 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
4 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the Zilupe and the Silene Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 2 - of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners have a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 1 foreignerAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Azerbaijan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), was detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of Azerbaijan was not commenced.
2 persons were refused exit from LatviaAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia and 1 - of German, who were not in possession of valid travel document, were detected. The persons were refused exit from Latvia.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 9 persons - 7 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Latvia, 4 - of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Poland, 1 - of German, 1 - of Finland and 1 - of Israel.
