On Monday the 1st of July, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 33 offenders at external borders and within the country.
15 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
2 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus and 1 - of Kirgizstan were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 8 foreignersAt the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 5 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 2 citizens of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 16 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Russia, 1 - of German, 1 - of Austria, 1 - of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Kirgizstan, 1 - of Bulgaria, 1 - of Poland and 1 - of Latvia.
