On Friday the 3rd of July, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 21 offenders at external borders and within the country.

8 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Silene and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 2 citizens of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners have resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Administrative sanction was not imposed on 1 citizen of Belarus, the other citizen of Belarus was subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 citizens of Uzbekistan.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Latvia, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Romania, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Switzerland.
