On Wednesday the 4th of July, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 48 offenders at external borders and within the country.

25 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

5 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova, the Grebņeva and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 citizens of Russia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 4 foreigners

At the Silene, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus, 1 - of Ukraine and 2 - of Georgia who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

3 persons were refused exit from Latvia

At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 minor citizens of Latvia, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement of the second parent for there independent travelling outside Latvia, were detected and 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement at least one of the parents for her independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected as well. The persons were refused exit from Latvia.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 2 citizens of Estonia, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 stateless person of Latvia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 18 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 7 citizens of Russia, 4 - of Belarus, 2 - of Estonia, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of German and 1 - of Austria .
