On Saturday the 4th of July, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 16 offenders at external borders and within the country.

10 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, entered the country from Dublin, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1987, was detained and handed over to the State Police Officers.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 6 foreigners

At the Terehova, Grebņeva and the Silene Border Control Points 4 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Kazakhstan and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa free regime), were detected. Administrative sanction was not imposed on 3 citizens of Russia, the 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Kazakhstan, 1 citizen of Russia was subject to administrative liability.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Belarus, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Serbia and 1 - of Estonia.
