On Saturday the 7th of July, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 66 offenders at external borders and within the country.
31 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
• 6 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia
At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid travel document, and 2 citizens of Alger and 1 - of Azerbaijan were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
• Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners
At the Grebņeva, the Silene and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia,1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
• 1 Latvian citizen was refused exit from Latvia
At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who intended to leave Riga for Burgos with not valid travel document, was detected. The woman, born in 1990, was refused exit from Latvia.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 13 persons - 9 citizens of Lithuania and 4 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 22 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 7 citizens of Russia, 5 - of Belarus, 2 - of Latvia, 2 - of Estonia, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of German, 1 - of Poland and 1 - of Uzbekistan.
