Events at the state border and within the country - July 09, 2019

On Tuesday the 9th of July, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 33 offenders at external borders and within the country.

15 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Montenegro was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid travel document. The person was returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia and 2 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

2 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 minor citizens of Latvia, who were not in possession of valid travel document, were detected. The persons were refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 citizens of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 14 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Belarus, 2 - of Serbia, 1 - of Rumania and 1 - of Estonia.
