On Wednesday the 10th of July, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 43 offenders at external borders and within the country.
24 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
6 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Grebņeva Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Turkmenistan and 2 - of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; as well as 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 10 foreignersAt the Terehova, the Silene, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 citizens of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Philippine, 3 - of Belarus and 2 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 2 citizens of Belarus was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.
1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the countryAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of at least one parent's agreement for his independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 10 persons - 3 citizens of Lithuania, 3 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Russia, 1 - of China and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Azerbaijan and 1 - of Germany.
