On Friday the 12th of July, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 45 offenders at external borders and within the country.
23 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 foreigner with forged documents was detectedAt the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus entering Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Lithuanian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The forged document was seized.
1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detainedAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia leaving the country for Antalya, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1998, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
4 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Montenegro was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid travel document. At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has already resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period, as well as 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreignersAt the Terehova, the Zilupe, the Grebņeva and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Tajikistan, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Sweden, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
3 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the countryAt the Zilupe Border Control Point 2 minor citizens of Latvia, who were not in possession of at least one parent's agreement for their independent travelling outside Latvia, were detected. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen (female) of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The persons were refused exit from the country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 8 persons - 6 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 14 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 7 citizens of Belarus, 4 - of Latvia, 2 - of Russia and 1 - of Poland.
