On Friday, 13 July, officials of the State Border Guard at the external borders and within the country detected 50 offenders.
At the external borders 22 offenders were detected, including:

At Zilupes Border Control Point was detected one national of Ghana with forged Schengen visa, meanwhile at Terehova Border Control Point detected one national of Pakistan with forged residence permit of Spain. Both persons were subjected to administrative liability and returned to the countries of their departure.
Entrance to Latvia via the "Riga" airport Border Control Point was barred to 2 Ukrainian female citizens as one did not have valid visa or residential permit and other was not able to justify the purpose and conditions of entry and stay and did not have sufficient livelihoods for visiting Schengen countries. At Liepājas harbor the entrance to Latvia was denied to one Ukrainian sailor as he had a ban to enter and to stay in the territory of Schengen states. In regards to this sailor the affirmation from the ship captain was received, that the man, during the ship's boarding while in territorial waters of Latvia, will not leave the vessel; both women were returned to the country of departure.
Breach of the stay requirements identified to 3 foreigners:At Grebņevas and "Riga" airport Border Crossing Points one citizen of Kazakhstan and 2 citizens of Uzbekistan who were violated residence regulations in the territory of Schengen states (did not have valid visa or residence permit) were detected. Persons were subjected to administrative liability.
Departure from the country denied to 1 Latvian citizenAt the "Riga" airport Border Control Point 1 latvian citizen was detected with no valid travel document . Woman, born in 1987, was denied to leave the country.
Immigration control measures inside the country, violations of entry or stay regulations were detected to 10 persons - 5 Lithuanian, 3 Russian, 1 Estonian and 1 Columbian citizen.
Within the framework of vehicles and vessels operation, the State Border Guard officials detected offenses committed by 18 persons - 5 Russian, 5 Latvian, 2 Estonian, 2 Ukrainian, 2 German, 1 Lithuanian and 1 Serbian national.
