Events at the state border and within the country - July 13, 2020

On Monday the 13th of July, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 16 offenders at external borders and within the country.

6 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 holder of a travel document of the 51st Convention of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland was refused entry to Latvia, as the foreigner did not possess a valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 1 foreigner

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (did not possess a valid visa or residence permit), was detected. Administrative sanction was not imposed on the citizen of Russia.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 2 citizens of Estonia and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Estonia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Lithuania.
