On Tuesday the 16th of July, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 44 offenders at external borders and within the country.
26 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
7 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 6 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the Zilupe Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uruguay was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 4 foreignersAt the Grebņeva and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia, 1- of Kirgizstan and 1 - of Kazakhstan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Kazakhstan was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.
3 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the countryAt the Zilupe and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 minor non-citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of other parent's notarized consent for his travelling outside Latvia, as well as 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of at least one parent's notarized consent for her independent travelling outside Latvia, and 1 non-citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, were detected. The persons were refused exit from the country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 persons - 2 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 7 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Finland.
