On Friday, 19 July State Border Guard officials at the external borders within the country detected 35 offenders.
At the external borders 19 offenders were detected, including:
• Detained 1 citizen of Latvia in search
At „Riga"airport Border Control Point detected 1 citizen of Latvia arriving from London, who has in police search. Man was detained and handed over to the State Police officials.
• Entry into Latvia was denied to 4 foreigners
In Silenes, Paternieku and „Riga" airport Border Control Points entry to the country was denied to 2 Russian and one Belorussian citizen, because they had not have valid visa or residence premit. 1 Georgian citizen has a ban to subject entering and staying in the territory of the Schengen area. Persones were returned to the country of departure.
• Breach of the stay requirements identifiet to 9 foreigners
Terehovas and „Riga" airport Border Control Points detected 7 Russian, 1 Ukrain and 1 Turkish citizen which was violated residence regulations in the territory of Schengen states ( didn't haved valid visa or residence permit, exceede the stay period indicated in visa). The persones has ben called to the administrative liability.
Immigration control measures inside the country, violations of entry or stay regulations were detected to 5 persons - 3 Latvian and 2 Lithuanian citizens.
Within the farmwork of vheicels and vessels operations, the State Border Guard officials detected offenses commited by 11 persons - 5 Belorussian, 3 Latvian, 2 Russian and 1 citizen of Kazahstan.
