Events at the state border and within the country - July 21, 2020

On Tuesday the 21th of July, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 19 offenders at external borders and within the country.

8 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kirgistan, entering Latvia, who presented a forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policies, was detected. The forged document was seized.

At the Terehova and Silene Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Administrative sanction was not imposed.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 2 citizens of Lithuania, 2 - of Estonia and 1 - of Belarus.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Ukrain.
