Events at the state border and within the country - July 27, 2019

On Saturday, 27 July State Border Guard officials at the external border within the country detected 49 offenders.

At the external border 28 offenders were detected, including:

At Grebņevas Border Control Point detected one Russian citizen who tried to emigrate, and showed to officials a fake Russian transport insurance policy. Person was called to the administrative liability.

At Teherovas, Silenes and Pāternieku Border Control points entry to the country was denied to 3 Russian and 1 Belorussian citizen, because they had not have valid visa or residence permit. 2 Ukraine citizens, because they were not able to justify the purpose of staying and had not have sufficient live hood for visiting Schengen countries. And 1 Moldavia citizen, because for foreigner has a ban to subject entering and staying in the territory of the Schengen area. Persons were returned to the country of departure.

At Teherovas, Grebņevas and Silenes Border Control Points detected 3 Russian, one Kazakhstan and one Belorussian citizen which was violated residence regulations in the territory of Schengen state (didn't have valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the stay period indicated in visa) Against to two Russian citizens decision initiate administrative proceeding have begun but other persons were called to the administrative liability.

Immigration control measure inside the country, violations of entry or staying regulations were detected to 5 Lithuanian citizens.

Within framework of vehicles and vessels operations the State Border Guard officials for violations was called to administrative liability 16 persons - 7 Russian, 3 Lithuanian, and 2 Belorussian, 2 Ukraine, one Latvian and one Uzbekistan citizens.
