Events at the state border and within the country - July 28, 2019

On Sunday, 28 July State Border Guard officials at the external border within the country detected 31 offenders.

At the external border 20 offenders were detected, including:

At Grebņevas Border Control Point entry to the country was denied to one Chinese, because for foreigner had not have valid visa or residence permit. In turn at "Riga" airport Border Control Point entry in to country was denied to one Ukraine and to 4 Georgian citizens, because they were not able to justify the purpose of staying and they did not have sufficient live hood for visiting Schengen countries. Persons were returned to the country of departure.

At Zilupes and Pāternieku Border Control Points detected one Moldavian and 2 Ukraine citizens, which was violated residence regulations in the territory of Schengen states. (Exceeded the stay period indicated in visa, exceeded visa free the duration of stay under the regime) Administrative proceeding in administrative violation case were not initiated to Ukraine citizen, other persons were subjected to administrative liability.

Immigration control measures inside the country, violations of entry and stay regulations were detected to 2 persons - 1 Lithuanian and 1 Estonia citizens.

Within framework of vehicles and vessels operations the State Border Guard officials for violations was called to administrative liability 9 persons - 4 Belorussian, 1 Lithuanian, 1 Russian, 1 Latvian, 1 Estonian and Austrian citizen.
