On Thursday, 30 July State Border Guard officials at the external border within the country detected 41 offenders

At the external border 31 offenders were detected, including:

Entry in to Latvia was denied to 5 foreigners

At Teherovas, Pāternieku and Silenes Border Control Points entry in to Latvia was denied to 4 Russian and one Belorussian citizen, because they had not have valid visa or residence permit. Persons were returned to the country of departure.

Breach of stay requirements identified to 7 foreigners

At Zilupes and "Riga" airport Border Control Points detected 7 Russian citizens which was violated regulations in the territory of Schengen state (had not have valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the stay period indicated in visa). For four Russian citizens administrative proceeding had not started, other persons were subjected to administrative liability.

Exit from the country denied to one Latvian citizen

At "Riga" airport Border Control Point detected one minor Latvian citizen, who had not have notarized consent, at least from one parent, to leave the country. Person are denied to exit from Latvia.

Immigration control measures inside the country, violations of entry or stay regulations were detected to 3 persons - 2 Lithuanian and one Georgian citizen.

With framework of vehicles and vessels operation, the State Border Guard officials for violations was called to administrative liability 7 persons - 2 Belorussian, 2 Ukraine, one Russian, one Estonian and one Azerbaijani citizen.
