On Friday, June 1, 2018, the State Border Guard officials have detected 47 offenders at the external borders and within the country.
• 1 non-citizen of Latvia, who was on the wanted - list was detained:
At Railway „Zilupe" Border Control Point 1 non-citizen of Latvia, who was entering the Republic of Latvia from Russia bv train and is on the State Police's wanted-list was detected. Person, born in 1990, was arrested and handed over to officialts of State Police.
• Entry to the Republic of Latvia was refused to 2 foreigners:
At „Terehova" and Airport „Riga" Border Control Points 1 citizen of Ukraine, 1 citizen of Kazahstan and 1 citizen of Zambia were refused the right to enter the Republic of Latvia, as persons were not in a possession of valid visas or residence permits. Persons were returned to the country of exit.
• exit from the Republic of Latvia was refused to 1 non-citizen of Latvia:
At "Grebņeva" Border Control Point 1 non-citizen of Latvia, whose passport was not valid for travelling outside the territory of the Schengen area, was detected. Person was refused the right to travel outside the Republic of Latvia.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country, violations of entry of residence were detected to 11 persons - 3 citizens of Russia, 3 citizens of Ukraine, 3 citizens of Estonia and 2 citizens of Lithuania.
Within the framework of vehicles and vessels operation, 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Border Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Latvia, 3 citizen of Russia and 3 citizens of Belarus and 1 citizen of Ukraine.
