On Tuesday the 2nd of June, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 30 offenders at external borders and within the country.
11 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 foreigner with forged documents was detectedAt the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan, entering Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Lithuanian International Vehicle Insurance Policies, was detected. The forged documents were seized.
1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detainedAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia entered from Berlin, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1975, was detained and handed over to the State Police's officials.
At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the exit country.
At the Terehova, the Silene and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Belarus and 2 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa free regime), were detected. Administrative sanction was not imposed on 1 citizen of Ukraine and 1 - of Russia, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 4 citizens of Estonia, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Latvia and of 1 - of Great Britain.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Estonia, 4 - of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Latvia.
