On Saturday the 6th of June, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 21 offenders at external borders and within the country.

12 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Serbia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the Pāternieki and the Silene Border Control Points 5 citizens of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay of the visa free regime, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Administrative sanction was not imposed on 2 citizens of Ukraine, the other parsons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 1 citizen of India.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Poland and 1 - of Norway.
