On Wednesday the 12th of June, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 35 offenders at external borders and within the country.
26 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 foreigner with forged documents was detectedAt the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus leaving Latvia by truck, who presented forged Belarusian Driving License, was detected. Criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. The forged documents were seized within the framework of criminal procedure.
4 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Grebņeva and the Terehova Border Control Points 3 citizens of Russia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 8 foreignersAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kirgizstan, 1 - of Azerbaijan and 6 - of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of Azerbaijan and 3 citizens of Ukraine was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.
1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the countryAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of at least one parent's agreement for her independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from Latvia.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 2 citizens of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Serbia, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Estonia.
