Events at the state border and within the country - June 15, 2020

On Monday the 15th of June, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 20 offenders at external borders and within the country.

11 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners with forged documents were detected

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine, entered Latvia by car with a forged Lithuanian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The forged document was seized. While at the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus, leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, with a forged Russian Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The forged document was seized. The person was subject to administrative liability.

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Silene Border Control Point 2 citizens of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The persons were returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Ukraine and 1 - of Malaysia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay of the visa free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability. Administrative sanction was not imposed.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 1 citizens of Belarus.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Belarus, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Lithuania.
