On Saturday, June 16, 2018, the State Border Guard officials detected 37 offenders at the external borders and within the country.

At "Pāternieki" Border Control Point, 2 citizens of Ukraine were refused the right to enter the Republic of Latvia, as persons were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit Schengen countries. Persons were returned to the country of exit.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country, violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 3 citizens of Lithuania, 2 citizens of Russia, 1 citizen of Estonia, 1 citizen of Ukraine.
Within the framework of vehicles and vessels operation, 18 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Border Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Latvia, 5 citizens of Belarus, 3 citizens of Russia, 2 citizens of Estonia, 1 citizen of Lithuania, 1 citizen of Kyrgyzstan and 1 citizen of Italia.
