Events at the state border and within the country - June 16, 2020

On Tuesday the 16th of June, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 22 offenders at external borders and within the country.

12 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner with forged documents was detected

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus, entered Latvia by car with a forged Belarusian Technical Inspection Certificate, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 9 foreigners

At the Grebņeva, the Terehova, the Pāternieki and Silene Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus, 3 - of Ukraine and 5 - of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa free regime), were detected. Administrative sanction was not imposed on the 3 citizens of Ukraine and 4 citizens of Russia, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Estonia and 1 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Estonia, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Lithuania.
