On Monday the 17th of June, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 51 offenders at external borders and within the country.
31 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detainedWhile carrying out profiling of passengers at the Riga Passenger Port 1 citizen of Latvia entered Latvia from Sweden, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1985, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
7 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Terehova, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; 3 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Moldova were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; as well as 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry, as she has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period and 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreignersAt the Zilupe and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the countryAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The woman was refused exit from the country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 3 citizens of Ukraine, 2 - of Russia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Latvia, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Spain and 1 - of Germany.
