Events at the state border and within the country - June 18, 2020

On Thursday the 18th of June, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 21 offenders at external borders and within the country.

11 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners with forged documents were detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia, entered Latvia with forged German Residence Permit, were detected. Both persons were subject to administrative liability. The forged documents were seized.

5 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 5 citizens of Russia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The persons were returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Terehova Border Control Point 3 citizens of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Administrative sanction was not imposed.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 1 citizens of Sri Lanka, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Belarus and 1 - of Russia.
