On Friday the 19th of June, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 29 offenders at external borders and within the country.

11 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. While at the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has already resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the Terehova, Grebņeva and Pāternieki Border Control Points 4 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Mongolia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Administrative sanction was not imposed on 3 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Mongolia, 1 citizen of Russia was subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 8 persons - 2 citizens of Estonia, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Russia and 3 stateless persons of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Estonia, 3 - of Belarus, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Germany.
