On Thursday the 20th of June, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 33 offenders at external borders and within the country.
23 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 non-citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detainedAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 non-citizen of Latvia leaving Riga for Moscow, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The woman, born in 1968, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.
1 foreigner was refused entry into LatviaAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and she was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The person was returned to the exit country.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreignersAt the Terehova, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of India, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the 1 citizen of Ukraine was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.
2 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the countryAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, as well as 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of at least one parent's agreement for his independent travelling outside Latvia, were detected. The persons were refused exit from Latvia.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 1 citizen of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Latvia.
