On Sunday the 21st of June, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 23 offenders at external borders and within the country.

12 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the Port of Ventspils, while carrying out a check of the passenger list 1 citizen of Latvia, entered the country from Sweden, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1982, was detained and handed over to the State Police Officers.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 4 foreigners

At the Terehova Border Control Point 3 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Administrative sanction was not imposed.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 1 citizen of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Poland, 1 - of Belgium, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.
