On Friday the 22nd of June, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 32 offenders at external borders and within the country.

19 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

• 1 citizen of Lithuania with forged documents was detected

Carrying out immigration control on the road in Rucava Civil Parish a citizen of Lithuania, who presented forged Lithuanian driving license, was detected. The criminal proceedings were initiated for use of forged documents.

• 6 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan (female) was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country, while at the Pāternieki Border Control Point 4 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

• Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Zilupe and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia, 1 citizen of Ukraine and 1 citizen of Kazakhstan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 1 citizen of Lithuania, 1 - of Kirgizstan and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 7 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Latvia and 1 - of Estonia.
