On Monday the 24th of June, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 27 offenders at external borders and within the country.

17 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

3 citizens of Latvia, who are on the police wanted list, were detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Turkey entered Latvia from Istanbul, 1 citizen of Latvia entered the country from London and 1 citizen of Latvia entered the country from Moscow, who are on the Police wanted list, were detected. The men, born in 1970, 1980 and 1992 were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia (females) were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; as well as 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The person was returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to a foreigner

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus (female), who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

2 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of at least one parent's agreement for her independent travelling outside Latvia, and 1 citizen of Latvia (female), who was not in possession of valid travel document, were detected. The persons were refused exit from Latvia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Ukraine, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Mongolia, 1 - of German and 1 - of Italy.
