On Tuesday the 26th of June, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 53 offenders at external borders and within the country.

27 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

10 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus and 1 - of Morocco (female) were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the Indra and Pāternieki Border Control Points 8 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they
were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 6 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Ukraine, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of China and 1 - of Georgia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded stay of the visa-free regime, were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the 2 citizens of Ukraine and 1 - of Georgia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 Latvian citizen was refused exit from Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement at least one of the parents for his independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from Latvia.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 9 persons - 5 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Ukraine.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 17 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 7 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Latvia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Moldova and 1 - of Kazakhstan.
