On Thursday the 28th of June, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 41 offenders at external borders and within the country.
21 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
• 1 citizen of Nigeria with forged documents was detected
At the Terehova Border Control Point a citizen of Nigeria entered Latvia (fan of the World Football Championship - a holder of FAN ID Card), who presented forged Schengen (German) visa, was detected. The citizen of Nigeria was subject to administrative liability. The person was refused entry into Latvia and was returned to the exit country.
• 2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia
At the Terehova Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The persons were returned to the exit country.
• Violations of resident conditions were detected to 11 foreigners
At the Zilupe, the Terehova, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Belarus, 2 - of China, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Moldova, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, were not in possession of valid visas or residence permits), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 2 citizens of China, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Belarus was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 3 citizens of Belarus and 1 - of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 16 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Estonia, 3 - of Latvia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of German and 1 non-citizen of Estonia.
