On Friday the 2nd of March, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 34 offenders at external borders and within the country.

15 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Syria with forged Schengen multiple-entry "C" visa, was detected. The criminal proceedings was initiated for use of forged documents. The man, born in 1996, was detained and placed in a short-term detention facilities.At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the countries of exit.At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizens of Ukrain and 1 of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence (residence after expiry of residence permit indicated in visa, absence of valid visa or residence permit) in Schengen countries. Persons were subjected to administrative liability. At the Paternieki Border Control Point 2 minor citizens of Latvia, who were not in possession of notarially certified agreement of at least one of the parents for their independent travelling outside Latvia. The persons were refused exit from Latvia.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 11 persons - 4 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Lithuania, 3 - of Estonia and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Ukrain.
