On Tuesday the 3rd of March, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 37 offenders at external borders and within the country.
19 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
1 foreigner with forged documents was detectedAt the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Lithuania, leaving Latvia with forged Danish International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.
4 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 3 citizens of Azerbaijan were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country; as well as 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreignersAt the Terehova and the Grebņeve Border Control Points 1 citizen of Kazakhstan and 2 - of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 9 persons - 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of India, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Georgia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Latvia, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Lithuania.
