On Thursday the 7th of March, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 36 offenders at external borders and within the country.

23 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

7 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the Grebņeva, the "Riga" Airport and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia, 2 - of Georgia and 3 - of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus, 1 - of Mongolia, 1 - of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Brazil and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of Kazakhstan was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

2 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 minor citizens of Latvia, who were not in possession of notarially certified agreement of at least one parent for their independent travelling outside Latvia, were detected. The persons were refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 2 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Bulgaria.
