On Saturday the 9th of March, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 45 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid travel document. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 9 citizens of Georgia and 2 - of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; as well as 3 citizens of Georgia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners have a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 1 foreignerAt the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.
1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the countryAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 persons - 2 citizens of Lithuania, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Estonia and 1 stateless person.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Estonia, 2 - of Latvia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Hungary, 1 - of Denmark, 1 - of Germany, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Kirgizstan, 1 - of Belgium and 1 - of Ukraine.
