On Saturday the 10th of March, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 28 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kirgizstan was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the countries of exit.At the Paternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Ukrain and 1 - of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence (residence after expiry of residence permit indicated in visa, absence of valid visa or residence permit) in Schengen countries. Persons were subjected to administrative liability.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 9 persons - 6 citizens of Lithuania, 2 - of Ukrain and 1 - of Russia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Latvia, 3 - of Belarus, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.
