On Sunday the 10th of March, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 30 offenders at external borders and within the country.

13 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 citizens of Latvia, who are on the police wanted list, were detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia entered Latvia from Lids and 1 - from London, who are on the police wanted list, were detected. The men, both born in 1996, were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Tajikistan and 1 - of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 3 citizens of Lithuania, 3 - of Estonia and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Latvia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Poland.
