On Wednesday the 11th of March, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 43 offenders at external borders and within the country.

27 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

8 persons with forged and another persons' documents were detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia, entered Latvia with forged
French residence permit and 1 citizen of Uzbekistan with forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policy were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability. At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 2 citizens of Lithuania entered Latvia, who presented forged Danish International Vehicle Insurance Policies, were detected. The forged documents were seized. At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Syria, who presented forged passport of Rumanian citizen, 1 citizen of Afghanistan (woman), who presented passport of another person - citizen of Great Britain, and 1 citizen of Iran, who presented forged Belgian residence permit, were detected. Criminal procedure was commenced regarding citizen of Syria for the use of forged documents. While criminal procedure was commenced regarding citizens of Afghanistan and Iran for concealing personal identity. The persons were placed in the State Police short-term detention facility.

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the Port of Ventspils 1 citizen of Latvia, entered Latvia, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1971, was detained and handed over to the State Police Officers.

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of India was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; as well as 1 citizen of Azerbaijan was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and she was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 6 foreigners

At the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Azerbaijan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Armenia and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Belarus and 1 - of Estonia.
