On Friday the 16th of March, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 46 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the Silene and "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia and 1 of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. Persons were returned to the countries of exit.At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Mongolia and 1 of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence (residence after expiry of residence permit indicated in visa, absence of valid visa or residence permit) in Schengen countries. Proceeding against citizen of Uzbekistan has not been commenced, citizen of Mongolia was subjected to administrative liability. At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point have been detected 1 citizen of Latvia and 1 citizen of Lithuania without valid travel document. Departure from country have been refused for the mentioned persons.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 11 persons - 5 citizens of Lithuania, 5 - of Estonia and 1 - of Russia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 21 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Belarus, 5 - of Latvia, 4 - of Lithuania, 3 - of Russia, 2 -of Ukrain and 1 - of Kazakhstan.
