On Saturday the 16th of March, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 36 offenders at external borders and within the country.
16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
2 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the Pededze Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia (female) was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner was not in possession of the compulsory health insurance policy. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the countryAt the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 minor Latvian citizen, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement of at least one parent for his independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from Latvia.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 11 persons - 6 citizens of Estonia, 4 - of Lithuania and 1 of - Israel.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Lithuania, 2 - of Belarus, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Sweden and 1 - of Estonia.
